Post by: MikeBjerum on October 27, 2015, 08:14:52 PM
Happy birthday Mauserman!  Assuming you didn't lie about your age, today marks your last birthday.  It's all anniversaries from here on out.

Have a good one!

Grats, Mauserman!!..

At the risk of being discouraging, I remember my thoughts on my 40th birthday....

They were:  Folks easily live to be 80 now days, so 40 is only half way there....and that second half is gonna be a lot harder than the first half.

But enjoy it the day and have a great one....

(and the trick is to choose your "fights".  Not everything you energetically campaigned for in your youth is worth that expenditure of energy as you age)

An Old Bull and a Young Bull are sitting in the shade of a  tree atop a hill overlooking the meadow.  Presently a herd of cows wanders to the foot of the hill and is noticed by the Young Bull.  The Young Bull leaps to his feet, stomping and snorting and says "Let's run down the hill and  have one of those cows"!!!   The Old Bull slowly gets to his feet and says  "Let's walk down the hill and have them all".

Unlike Solus, I'm too far away from my 40th birthday to remember anything about it except that it happened!  Sorry I missed yours.  Hope it was a good one!
