I know this is an old story, April, 2015, but it is making the rounds of social media this week and something caught my eye.

It's about a pizza worker in Seattle who is being laid off. His employer says its because of the minimum wage Seattle has mandated. Now, regardless how you feel about the issue of government mandated wages here's the interesting part.
The employee says: He said that while the law was being discussed all he heard about was how the mandatory minimum wage increase would make life better for him, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Exactly where does he get his news? His information? "All he heard..." might be a clue. He only listenes to radio and TV, maybe. How could one not hear that there were just maybe, might be negative side effects?
Kinda of scary when you think about it. Either EVERY news source available to Seattle residents suppressed ALL stories about possible bad effects of minimum wage law, OR...
We're in deep do-do, cause these people vote.

They don't care Alf. It's all part of the, "where's mine" thought process the communist mind feeds off. If you're earning minimum wage, and someone running for office wants to increase that wage, they're all for it. They don't understand there are unintended consequences of good intentions. They can't see that far because they don't want to. Like most socialists, they stop thinking, and start cheering as soon as they hear the part that they're getting something. When it backfires, (much like Obama Care), they can't process it. Right away they can't understand how this could possibly happen, because they were all promised differently.
It's the same reason why these same people cannot digest the fact there has never been one single country where socialism has ever worked, regardless of how many examples they've been given. They don't care because they've been told it will work here. What they can't figure out, is all of the people in all those other countries were all told the same thing. They process it as the leaders in all those countries are not as smart as Obama and Clinton.
It all goes back to the old saying that the reason communism has never worked in 70 years, is because the right people have not been put in charge.......... Until now...... And by the way, forget about the last 7 years under Obama. It doesn't count. That's the secular liberal mind set. Go to Pet Smart and stare into the Parakeet cage. You'll see the same thing, much as you will in a Democratic Precinct on election day. You'll even hear the chirping if you listen hard enough.

1stoff, most only watch the news for the weather and sports, the rest they only watch if they don't need to pee and can't find a commercial.
2nd Most are no longer capable of coherent logical thought . They believe what one source screams at them and don't verify anything with other sources.
Bill is dead on. Socialism and tolerance are tearing France apart before their eyes, 75% tax rate, Muslims flooding the country to replace the wealthy who are fleeing ANYWHERE else, Spain in perpetual economic melt down, Greece has been bailed out by Germany 3 times and every time a politician tries to actually save their economy they vote him out because just like Obama voters, They wants they free shot, and they'll burn down their own houses to get it.
The fact that Bernie Sanders is so popular proves the sheep are incapable of thought, He says burger flippers should get $15 / hour, he also said he would raise the tax rate to 90% .
The translation is that burger flippers will be taking home 1.50/hour. That's a living wage, right ?

I once read where a huge number of people get their news from the daily show on comedy central. I don't watch TV news because it's too depressing and repetitive and the news I get online seems fresher and more accurate. I still don't read or watch much news. Just enough to have an idea what's going on.
