Top adviser to Richard Nixon admitted that ‘War on Drugs’ was policy tool to go after anti-war protesters and ‘black people’

Several of you think the "war on some drugs" is a great thing . I've said right along that it is nothing but an unconstitutional vehicle for the suppression of citizens rights.
Just 2 examples of  egregious infringements are "civil forfeiture" and "no knock" warrants that were both welcomed as  "tools", but are now being recognized for the fascist infringements they are.
