Unfortunately, I still don't know what I can do except support and vote for strong, true conservative candidates. Well, that and be armed and prepared.

We need Tintin to wipe his nose, man up and remember Belgium’s once proud history. When German invaders attempted what they thought would be an easy romp through the tiny neutral country in 1914 on their way to Paris, resistance fighters who were outnumbered 14 to 1 took a brave stand in defense of their sovereignty. Bracing for an onslaught, King Albert addressed his people:
“One single vision fills all minds: that of our independence endangered. One single duty imposes itself upon our wills: the duty of stubborn resistance. In these solemn circumstances two virtues are indispensable: a calm but unshaken courage, and the close union of all Belgians. … It is the moment for action. … [A] country which is defending itself conquers the respect of all; such a country does not perish!”

Well, that and be armed and prepared.
That is the key. Vote informed and be ready.

But that was 1914 back in the days when countries killed their enemies, they didn't give them welfare and free housing.
Back then our Commander in Chief hunted turkey's, he did not Pardon" them at Thanksgiving.
Back then the military leaders, as well as the population, understood that the military was not a social experiment, it was a tool dedicated to killing people and wrecking stuff.

Indeed, suh.

A good first aid training and medic kit might not be a bad idea.

A great idea, IMHO.
I have been doing some research online and you can find some great kits as packages, and then supplement with more specialized tools much cheaper than I realized. For example, you can get decent suture kits for under $75 to add to an existing kit.

Don't forget the medical staplers. Found some at a dog show....$25 each. Good enough for me if I ever need it....
