It says I'm a centrist.

Libertarian. Surprised myself...
-
Centrist. But that's because I could only choose one of the pre approved answers, not state my own.
-
Conservative....falling just outside the Centrist grid.
-
How the hell did you wind up to the right of ME ???????
-
I'm a quick study......and I've been hangin' around here for quite some time. ;D

I once googled "tactics employed by Bogan" and it referred me to some guy named Atilla. ;)

that's been around for a long time, its not that great, several of the questions are very much gray areas.
example, the 2 questions on welfare.( corp and for people) with out some form of corpate welfare, rather it be tax breaks or flat out help from the .gov we would not have a lot of the things that we rely on now. nor would we have near as many jobs. while we all agree that the .gov should stay the f out of biz, we also are smart enough to know that if they didn't help on somethings we would be screwed. same with welfare, we all agree that people on generations of welfare are bad. a hand up is ok, but a hand out is not. where you draw that line is the real question, not rather you are for it or not.
I won't even get into things like drug legalization questions. I always love how pot heads say its their right to smoke pot, but a tweaker does not have that same right to smoke meth. same issue, much different out come.
-
One way of looking at it is that pot requires no processing beyond drying, while Meth requires an illegal processing of road flares and Sudafed.
There are absolutely no laws or regulations about possessing or using chicken soup, but if you take the next step and breed Botulism even the UN will be on your case.
Just a thought.

there is a toad humbolt county that went endangered and is a felony to own. why? licking it gives you a high like lsd. it takes no work either. the real q. is how hard up of a stoner do you neeed to be to lick a toad?
meth use to be produced in labs, still is in many places.

Your excellent point also serves bolster the argument of the person (and not the object) being responsible.
The world around us is filled with everyday things that are really just a "fine line" away from being an implement of death/destruction.......from hammers to automobiles to food and medications (remember the Tylenol scare), all dependent on the use or misuse of said item.....but 'they' only pick on guns and ammo as being the killers and never the madman.

Correct, Peg...it is not the "thing" that does the wrong, it is how it is used by those possessing it.
In the soup example, someone whipping up Botulism for their close adult friends to knowingly and willingly sample should not be illegal.
I think of the Pufferfish, highly poisonous if not prepared properly. Folks pay dearly for a portion from a trained chef. Stupid and foolish? Very much so. Should it be illegal? No. There are a lot of things that are stupid and foolish...cliff jumping, mountain climbing, etc. that should not be illegal. If someone chooses to willingly and knowingly accept the risks involved..I wish them luck.
And if any one is interested, my dot was pegged in the top corner of the quiz.
