Title: Federal Primers. Backordered Again

Anybody notice the sudden lack of supply for Federal Small Pistol primers?   Everybody's out and most dealers won't take a backorder.   I think that means they don't know when they'll get any.

If you know anybody that has them in stock, please post.  I'm good for now but a friend is running real low.

Spent some time in the sleeper last night searching my usual places, and I found nothing.  Did some more glancing as I was looking for parts this evening and more nothing.

Sorry I bought them all up. :-)   have 25k on my bench now, juet need to find the time.

You've got me beat!  I only have 11K small pistols, and only 1K is Federal.

I'm okay myself.  One of my ICORE buddies is who's getting short, so it peaked my interest.

At least CCIs are still plentiful.  Not like a total outage.

I have loaded a lot of CCI's without any issues.  I like Federals in my tweaked guns, because they seem to take the lightest strike to set off.  I have heard of shooters with open guns having issues with Winchesters being too hard.

I'm loading for Cowboy now, and my guns have not had anything done to lighten the primer strike, so anything that goes bang is acceptable.
