Hello all, I have been getting caught up on Michael's podcasts and in some of them he encourages us all to get our CCW permits. I took my test, paid my fee, just got finger printed and now I wait for my permit to come in the mail. ;D
Thanks for the little bit of proding Michael.

Congratulations archerynut, and welcome to a great forum.
CCW's here in NC, (not sure about you guys in the great white north), make purchasing firearms easier. No NICS check on long gun purchases, and can walk out the store that day for a pistol.
Plus its a great sense of responsibility and security.
It took me 42 days to get my letter, informing me to come down to the Sheriff's office and pick it up.
Hope you get yours sooner.
P.S. Don't let it expire, you'll have to do everything over again.
Thanks for the post. Easier to carry a pistol, than a bow and quiver?

Grats! What size bow are you going to carry, Archerynut? ;D

Thanks guys. I'll be carrying my .40 cal arrow launcher.

Welcome to the site. There are a few of us Nodakers on here. Cool place, you should like it.

Welcome ArcheryNut.
Remember "It's the Indian, not the arrow" ;D
BTW, how's that .40 do with broadheads? ;)

archerynut, if you do any traveling out of state at all you might check into Non-resident CCW''s from New Hampshire and Florida. These will allow you to leagally carry concealed in several states (following whichever states laws your in). NH is $15-20 but Fla. is $100+. You can find out about this on line at the AG sites.
Concrats and stay safe,
Richard
