Crazy couple of weeks..

I had an interview a few weeks back.  Had some time to kill after so I stopped by my old company from twenty years back.  Spent an hour giving hugs, shootin the bull and doing a bit of networking.  The guy that replaced me 20 years ago gave me a contact and said he'd forward my resume to a company they're using to do their heavy fab work.

Next day I get a call, interview the day after!  Ironically, not only does the company do work for my old company, they're using a fabrication shop for the SS where I worked for near 10 years and have used as a fabricator myself for nearly 20 years!

Kind of a "daisy chain" of sorts!  Anyway, with all those connections, previous employers they wanted me, I wanted them and we came to an agreeable rate and other bennies...

Funny thing, life!
