Yep, wife and I are staying put too.  4 years shy of yours though.

I've got a couple of noise makers for midnight....might nap before then though...

I'm wondering if Alf is partaking in some of that fine Bourbon he was showing off?

I didn't make any snacks and haven't for years. I think the last thing I ate was cereal and before that was 2 Eggo breakfast sandwiches. Now I'm drinking hard black cherry lemonade. I only have 2 more so I'll save  them for another day. I may get something out of the freezer later.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids...  If not for the late 70's early 80's downturn I'd have stayed.

Yep. I'm in Flint. I'm currently on my last cup of coffee for the day. I have to use bottled water for it because of the lead in my water. I had a "midnight snack" of pancakes before I went to bed around 1:30. I always used to have lunch meat rolled up with cream cheese and a green onion then cut into bite size pieces for New Year's Eve. That was about the only time I'd make them. They're starting to sound good now.

Happy New Year Timothy. You're always welcome back to Michigan. Just don't expect to get a decent job here.

Pigs in the blanket sounds good.  Havarti cheese....not a bad choice.

I generally default to sharp cheddar....but then I like string cheese too so what do I know?

Tab...real cheese or a can of string cheese?

I had a bag of pretzels, a few Mt. Dews, at 2am I found a special on pizza slices to which I added a great big black coffee, and breakfast was another Mt. Dew.

I would love some wings or chicharron tacos, but I neglected the meat purchase ... I do have some pulled pork and sauce I've been nursing the last few weeks, but looking for some variety.

Shortly the bourbon is coming out!

The Force Awakens does cause drowsiness!  Sequels should be done before the characters are my age!

LOL

Went and saw Rogue One last night..... (first time in a theater since Force Awakens came out last year).

It's worth the time, if you are a fan of the original three films........It plays out like a grittier war film with a sci-fi theme.

To be honest, I try to tune out hollyweird attempts at political messages the limited few times I actually watch any of them........so, they didn't stand out like a sore thumb if they were there....... I may have been too engaged in the entertainment factor to have noticed.

I think it's just like any other of the Star Wars movies, people can find anything if they look hard enough to make something out of nothing, or a mountain out of a molehill.
