OK. What are you guys snacking on?
I'm hitting the applesauce with cinnamon and some pizza.
Yep...staying home too.
-
Bourbon... maybe some hot wings later!
-
Timothy it's lookin' like you and me are the only ones not doing anything tonight.....
-
I'm doing what pleases me!
Staying home with my best friend, Suzy! My partner of near on to 33 years!
A early Happy New Year to all! We may not make midnight but that's OK!
-
Yep, wife and I are staying put too. 4 years shy of yours though.
I've got a couple of noise makers for midnight....might nap before then though...
I'm wondering if Alf is partaking in some of that fine Bourbon he was showing off?
-
Jeffersons is a fine spirit! I have two empties the wifey is saving for candles!
Our local packy has some "limited" private labeled 750's. I buy one every couple weeks.
-
I am limiting my spirits to Perrier lime....
-
SIL bagged another doe this am... hoping for some backstrap or eye of round...
-
I didn't make any snacks and haven't for years. I think the last thing I ate was cereal and before that was 2 Eggo breakfast sandwiches. Now I'm drinking hard black cherry lemonade. I only have 2 more so I'll save them for another day. I may get something out of the freezer later.
-
Happy New Year, Frank!
God Bless my beloved Michigan...
-
That's Flint right Frank? No snacks....I had to get some carrots and ranch sauce a bit ago.
Timothy...you're from Michigan?
-
Born and raised in Grand Rapids... If not for the late 70's early 80's downturn I'd have stayed.
-
I thought you were a "sea spook" for a while.
-
Yes, I chased soviet subs for a time...
My pop, two brothers and I have a combined 42 years on active duty Naval service!

Yep. I'm in Flint. I'm currently on my last cup of coffee for the day. I have to use bottled water for it because of the lead in my water. I had a "midnight snack" of pancakes before I went to bed around 1:30. I always used to have lunch meat rolled up with cream cheese and a green onion then cut into bite size pieces for New Year's Eve. That was about the only time I'd make them. They're starting to sound good now.
-
Happy New Year Timothy. You're always welcome back to Michigan. Just don't expect to get a decent job here.
-
I had crackers and cheese.
-
Made some pigs in a blanket, egg salad with chopped up mini sweet gherkins and some summer sausage and Havarti cheese on butter crackers. Also stayed home with the wife .
-
Pigs in the blanket sounds good. Havarti cheese....not a bad choice.
I generally default to sharp cheddar....but then I like string cheese too so what do I know?
Tab...real cheese or a can of string cheese?

smoked pepper jack and chedder.
its what we had on hand. I was not going to the store when the temp was in single digits to get snacks for just the 2 of us.
-
I had a bag of pretzels, a few Mt. Dews, at 2am I found a special on pizza slices to which I added a great big black coffee, and breakfast was another Mt. Dew.
I would love some wings or chicharron tacos, but I neglected the meat purchase ... I do have some pulled pork and sauce I've been nursing the last few weeks, but looking for some variety.
Shortly the bourbon is coming out!
-
Time to put up the string cheese and crackers....
-
Heck, I was watching Star Wars and fell asleep in bed before midnight. ;D
-
The Force Awakens does cause drowsiness! Sequels should be done before the characters are my age!
LOL

Went and saw Rogue One last night..... (first time in a theater since Force Awakens came out last year).
It's worth the time, if you are a fan of the original three films........It plays out like a grittier war film with a sci-fi theme.

I heard there were some left wing moments, true?

To be honest, I try to tune out hollyweird attempts at political messages the limited few times I actually watch any of them........so, they didn't stand out like a sore thumb if they were there....... I may have been too engaged in the entertainment factor to have noticed.
I think it's just like any other of the Star Wars movies, people can find anything if they look hard enough to make something out of nothing, or a mountain out of a molehill.
