Against an ISIS insurgent with a McMillian TAC-50 in .50 BMG. 3,540 meters, or 2.2 MILES.

Iirc from my time in the coast guard m2 ball at 2000 yards is 1900 and change inches of drop qnd is in the air for 3.8X seconds.

He's got the best I could do beat by 2 miles. There's a TAC-50A1 now that's even better than the original.

estimating a 9.5sec flight time, the bullet dropped over 440meters....good thing he was elevated, or probably could not have seen the target... outstanding shot

The spotter deserves a lot of credit but won't likely get it.

Shooter will credit the spotter, but the media will ignore it.  Military will honor them as a team.
