I've been in scope swapping and replacement mode lately. I now have three .308's, a .223, a .243 and a 22-250 to zero or rezero. I've upgraded all of the 308's to 30 MM front focal plane scopes along with the 223. The .243 and 22-250 needed scope ring honing jobs and stock adjustments.
The semi-auto 308 got the lower powered scope transferred to it and it's scope went to another 308. Then the last 308 had a Leupold single mil-dot scope pulled and it was replaced with a FFP scope with ful mil dots. I took the Leupold scope it went on the 17 Fireball....with great effect. The 22-250 had a poor scope ring alignment job on it because I was in a hurry to bring it on a trip 10 years ago...glad I got that fixed along with the stock.
Practicing retirement can be a fun thing. Now it's time for the range. If any of these dudes ain't a shooter it's going to the gun show....
PS Bill. You better get that Cheetah on the range next week. I want to hear how it is performing.
