Title: Solar Eclipse Eye Damage
Post by: Rastus on August 29, 2017, 02:19:12 PM
People actually put sunscreen on their eyes to look at the eclipse.  Now they have a double whammy of chemical burns on their eyeballs and retinal damage.  Reference was made to many patients from California and New York...evaluate that however you will.

Sometimes I think, "People can't really be that stupid can they?", and then find out things like this are for real. The good news is that if any of these morons rinsed their eyes out when they started burning they probably won't have any permanent damage. A lot of them have been referred to ophthalmologists. They should also be referred to mental health professionals since they aren't dealing with a full deck.
