Just looking to add a Glock 19 to the collection.
Any reason to get a Gen4 Vickers with the upgrades on a Gen4, versus the Gen5 with the factory improvements ? Local gun shop has both in stock. Thanks for input.

I have small hands, and like the finger grooves... especially on my short grip 23 (19 size)...the added depth of the grip panels and ambi slide release does nothing for me.... if you can rent them, I would suggest shooting both first... regards

I think, in the G19, it's mainly comes down to how the grip feels. I don't think a whole lot else changed in that model.

They did nothing for me either, I wish I had tried it before I bought it lol.

I will pay more attention to the Gen. 5's when they come out in MOS.
My eyes are getting older and a RMR sight is going to be in my future.

There are no Gen 4 Vickers Glocks. They are Gen 3 RTF2 Glocks. Just for the record. I like the look and feel of the Gen 5 glocks but I will let others do the beta testing. Gen 3 and 4 are fully proven, beta’d and fully debugged.

Made the mistake of picking up a Gen 5 Glock 17 and handling it for about 15 minutes yesterday.
I really liked the way it fit in my hands.
