It was only $12... last one I got in sacramento was 300 for being over time on a parking meter.

When you get away from the rectum, there tends to be a lot less crap. ;D

One time I got 7 tickets all at once, but I never had a parking ticket as far I can recall. I'm more of a moving violation type of guy.

I got a $25 parking ticket the day my second granddaughter was born, but other than that all mine have been moving violations (best was for going twice the posted speed limit, favorite was smoking the tires all the way across an overpass in front of two deputies and a cop ;D ).
We were camping out of town about 160 miles away and got a call in the early morning hours that d-i-l was going into labor (a few weeks early). We packed up and left and made the trip as fast as we could hoping to get there in time. We got to town and dropped the camper in a nearby church parking lot and drove two blocks over to the hospital where parking, at best, is a nightmare. I parked in the only available curbside spot and because the car in the adjacent spot was over the line I had to park farther forward and maybe 1/4 of my front tire was past the yellow paint on the curb next to a driveway (I wasn't blocking the drive). The local municipality has a semi-retired peckerhead that does nothing but ride all over town on a dolled-up golf cart finding stuff to write tickets for and he got me and a few others all around the hospital.
