So this weekend the MTV VMA awards were on tv and I saw this on there and got really mad. I know freedom of speech is what makes America great, but I dont believe some Brit has the right to come here and slam Cowboys and our President.
I know George Bush hasnt been the greatest, but he is still my president. If he said today that we were going to war with the British, I would be the first one to go volunteer to fight. If there is another war started tomorrow, like WW3, I would join and follow my commander and chief into battle. I fought in a war for this president and how ever wrong you think he may have been in making that decision, it was still a decision that I had to support. And I dont think that some Brit has the right to call him a " Dumb Cowboy" and tell me to please vote for Obama. He doesnt have the right to vote so I think he should keep his mouth shut.
Also he used the term "Retarded Cowboy." So basically he was making a Cowboy seem like something that is bad. And that really pissed me off. To me a Cowboy from the old west is someone who personifies Americana. Cowboys today are men who make more sacrifices for you and me, by living a hard life with not as much pay as one should get for such an important job\lifestyle, to provide us with food, and help our economy, than this Brit on TV will ever do for anyone.
Now some of you may think of this as a bold statement, but to me, and I feel this from the bottom or my heart and soul, that the cowboys of the old west are more important, and I respect more, than the Knights in which Britian has held on a pedestal and thrown in everyones face as being all that is noble and Blah Blah Blah. I would trust the word, and feel more safe with a cowboy having my back, than any knight that has ever lived.
This crap with him saying he is the voice of the World is so pig headed it makes me sick. Its like Euros want us to be ruined by socialism just like they are. This whole crap about Obama is so unAmerican that I thought there are laws that would lock someone with his views in Jail. I thought it was called Treason. Even this thing about bailing out companies, taking from the rich companies to help the poor, is pure socialism. Sometimes companies, even large ones, need to fail or we would still riding around in carriages drivin by horses. Its called progression. (That was a little of topic, but it just pointed out this socialist crap that is coming up around us.)
Also a woman who is running for I Vice President has a disabled child, and has become a spokesperson on special needs kids, and this guy gets on stage and makes fun of "retards." Now I know we all use the term at times, retarded, but to go on stage infront of millions of people while going on a political rant and say that is the most classless act from a real developed Mentally disabled person I have ever seen. I am disgusted that MTV put this guy on and let him say those things. If i was the producer of the show I would have stopped him right there, kicked him out of the building, gone into the crowd and got some other, real comedian, and asked them to get on stage and finish the show so the night would turn out good instead of it becoming the crap that it was.
Sorry for the rant and I hope i am not breaking the rules of the forum but i thought that other people should see this.

This idiot is known in the UK, and MTV (which I gave up on after they stopped playing "music videos"), has that euro mentality that its all George Bush's fault, and the American people are but waiting to embrace the euro2.0 profile. Than I saw they gave the bimbo of the year award (3 times) to Britney Spears?

Saw this clown on Leno one night...never heard of him before.
This idiot is nothing more than a fart in a whirlwind......a little stink that gets a lot of circulation for a short amount of time.
And the MTV 'mindless masses' flock to it like flies to dung.
I also stopped watching MTV when they quit showing 'music' videos and there was not really any more 'real' music on there either.
What would the UK think if one of us went over 'there' and trashed 'Her Majesty the Queen'?
Oh well...I've spouted a little now....... 8)

Once, many years ago a good friend from the UK was on a rant about the US this and the US that.
I had to tell him there are two types of people in the world, those who's ancestors had the balls to come to the new world and the rest of the cowards that did not and remained the loyal subjects of incestuous royal relationships.
We don't talk about politics anymore but are still good friends.

I forgot to add: Didnt the British Prime Minister follow GW in every decision he made, and couldnt think for himself and need our help. Just throwing that out there. Maybe people like this should keep there mouth shut about politics and stick being the Muse for us common folk to laugh at.

Besides showing his political idiocy in a race which doesn't even concern him, the Brit ( can't remember his name... go figure) had the nerve to make fun of one of the groups for wearing "purity" rings. Now to be honest, I had never heard of the Jonas brothers let alone their music, but I have to respect them for taking a moral stand. If they had just completed rehab, they would have recieved a big ol' pat on the back or maybe even an award like perenial bibmbo, Ms. Spears. Instead, however, they are chastized for being, what I would consider, good role models. Now that I've vented a little, I'll end this rant by saying... send the limey back to England on the first thing smokin'!
