So last Friday was 420. So Monday was National Drug Test day. Guess what position failed the test

Could be anybody or everybody or nobody failed the drug test.

I had a crew of about 35 on a platform offshore repairing damage from hurricane Ivan.  It was prudent to have a drug test so...everybody was in the quarters for a safety meeting when the helicopter and dope dog was about 5 minutes out.  Chopper landed, dog and handler dropped out and then went snooping through the quarters and throughout the platform.

No dope.

Everyone got an extra day of pay for being clean.

In this case it was the guy with the CDL, with air brakes and hazmat endorsment    He is doubly screwed as I have too let ODOT know about his failed test.  I mean wtf the guy was making 70k a year driving a dump truck , last year he only drove 27k miles.  That is nothing for a truck driver... now he won't even be able too get a job. 


The only thing I feel bad about is b3ing dumb enough too hire him.

Shit, if I could live with the gun laws in Oregon, I'd apply.  CDL with every endorsement except haz-mat. I let that one expire because of the $100 fee for renewal of that particular endorsement.
It's a shame that Oregon has been Californicated.

Oregon Portland by far the most liberal City I have ever seen. It makes San Francisco look conservative. I wish I could say that's a joke but I really isn't
