What do you think? I think it is waaaayyyyy past time to level the playing field. I always wondered what happened to the Louisiana timber industry back home...plywood plants closing...timber prices collapsed to historical lows. Huh...no one said anything about Canadian tariffs and dumping causing it....that figures. Rich Rino's and rich progressives don't give a damn about
anyone (note the edit strikethroughs and adds in blue:) their fellow citizens only about but themselves.
And I do think Trudope will cave after some initial tariff sanctions because he and his handlers will be losing $$$'s if they don't. He will have some wealthy handlers directly impacted and then they will scare the remaining wealthy ones who are still puffed up into line and collectively they will slap Trudope to give in. What scared Obama, Bush, Clinton and Bush to get them to capitulate does not appear to work on Trump.

Trump has all the cards...after years of the US getting the short end of the trading deals, Trump has called an end to it.
And his "Trump" card is: Do fair trade with us or do trade with us at the worst terms for you.
It has been less than fair to us and Trump can make it way less fair to them if they don't want to accept fair.
Turdeau reacted just like Rocket Baby...make nice then reverse after US Politician gained a bit of political capital figuring the US Politician will cave to save face and embarrasment.

I am surprised that all of the resident Trump haters, and all of the foreign Trump haters, and all of the world leaders have not put a rush on Trumps book The Art Of The Deal. MB stated in a post I read, or a podcast I listened to, that at the firm where his sweetie is employed, they have all read the book, and as President DJT is doing exactly what he wrote.
At what point will people start recognizing that time after time Pres. DJT's tactics, that they blast, work. Since they started the process toward this with North Korea, he has pushed and even walked away, but, against everything predicted by other leaders and the media, what is happening this week?

Yeah, we are old enough to remember Reagan was going to end the world. The Pershing II missiles, the "new" cruise missiles, the new ICBM's and new SLBM's...the B-1 bomber restart...all of that offensive rough talk. The joke about bombing starts in 5 minutes...whatever. And what has happened? 4 weak administrations have squandered our position after the cold war. Now there is Trump and we're closer ending the Korean peninsula deadlock than ever...except when MacArthur wanted to use nukes...that was a missed opportunity.
I'm glad Trump is pissing off the RINO's, progressives, dimocrats and socialist/commies....he has a track record now and it is glaringly opposite to the aforementioned exploiters of the voters. The voters are going to really begin to see a difference in the economy next year....I hope that's soon enough.

Finally a Conservative President that stands up to foreign leaders and the fake media. ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN are just leftist propaganda ministry nothing more. I use to think all the globalist thing was a crock but now it looks like the left is part of something sinister.

Yep. And after China's announcement of the Chi-Com assessment of 50 billion in tariffs against us....Wall Street blew it off. The DOW Jones Industrials made a 200 point comeback after the Chi-com announcement.
Despite all the doom and gloom about the tariffs we've levied...80-90% are still pending. You don't get that on the lamestream media..... It will be a couple more months before they kick in substantially.
Foreign liberal progressive leaders are going to have to dial back some of that giveaway stuff that keeps them in power....or maybe some of their own pocket stuffing.
