Not what you would expect from that District, but will take it.  Sad that we need to fight and fight for such a clearly worded item in our constitution.

Seems the "Shall not be infringed" is not plain enough for these idiots. But I know I am preaching to the choir. They started the infringement in 1934 as far as I am concerned.

But can a Californian own a plastic straw in the confines of their own house?

As long as there's only a hole in one end, and it's not bendy.

Probably depends on whether it can be permanently attached to the cup or not and if it will require a "straw button" similar to a bullet button on an AR.

Give it time, since they are now weapons of assault in the UK it's just a matter of time before Kali moves in that direction.

Quote
A BOY of 13 was charged with assault after he allegedly used a straw to fire a french fry at a woman in McDonald’s.
-The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly used the straw to launch the chip at the woman’s head at a McDonald’s restaurant in the Broadway shopping centre in Hammersmith, west London. This then sparked a bust up between three of his friends and four young women which spilled outside.
The child was prosecuted after it hit the other customer’s face.

Trump is on a mission to replace overly liberal Federal judges. That have been making irrational decisions, and who have been trying to push liberal views from the bench. I can't help but wonder if this decision was a result of their fear of his actions.

Trump does what he say's. And he is not afraid of any political repercussions from the liberal media. Trump is famous for a, "tow the line or you're out", attitude. Judges have cushy jobs, and they don't want to lose them. Regardless of their political viewpoint.

Bill I think you are right.  When it comes right down to it they do not want to lose their gravy train.

They also know that the sc is going too swing right, getting overturned looks really bad and opens you up too have your other rulings challenged.

Somehow I don't think Trump is going to be in a rush to keep judges who's rulings depend upon which way the wind is blowing....

It's going to take a lot more than a single vote on the Second Amendment to buy Trump.

This vote by them would make me seek replacements ASAP.

It shows they are not even voting for what they believe (mistakenly) is best for the country but, rather what is best for them.

The best that might be said is that they are doing what they can to stay in office until a Liberal is back in power so they can do what they actually believe is best for the country.....and that is still a pile of offal.
