Title: RIA Mapp series pistols
Post by: MAUSERMAN on August 24, 2018, 12:19:47 AM
I recently bought a pair of RIA CZ clones that closely resemble the Tanfoglio small frame 9mm imported by EAA. Opinions and info would be appreciated.

I never heard of them before and took a look online. So what did you get? Full size or mid-size? Steel or plastic?

I got the compact and full-size polymer frame models. Both in 9mm. The price was to good to pass them up. The grip frame is the same the only real difference is the barrel is shorter on the compact. Same mags and manual of arms.

I would have gone polymer too if I was getting one. Or two. :)

I’d post pic of my range session but for some dang reason get some error message. For 349$ each I’m not complaining. Triggers are good and both use standard CZ75 mags. It seems like one of the factory mags is out spec. They’re both budget minded pistols but performed flawlessly at the range. Only hiccups came from the one defective mag.
