I have been hearing many bad stories and about the NRA. I came across this today, and would like some feed back from the folks here about what is the truth about the NRA.

If you listen to Michael's podcast #632, It will clear up what has been put out there by different groups.

Every disagreement has two sides. In this case, the media is very anti NRA, and NRA members, who love to feed on each other anyway, are buying it blindly. It doesn't help that the gun community has some of its own prominent faces turning their backs on the organization - Rob Pincus, disgruntled former board candidate who had to drop out of the race, because he wouldn't endorse NRA training programs being a strong anti voice. Did I forget to mention that Rob is also forming his own group to compete with the NRA in legislative affairs?
I struggle with some of what the NRA gives away in terms of gun control. But they are still a powerful voice, and I feel we need to work to heal and grow through this - Not die.

Thanks for that info. I've been missing the podcasts lately. They used to be my favorite source of gun info...now I get little info at all. Except from what you guys have to say.

Wayne LaPierre needs to step down.

Wayne LaPierre needs to step down.
Agreed. Even if he has not done anything wrong, at this point things have gotten to the point his stepping down would go a LONG way to re-unite different factions within the NRA. With the stupidity comming out at WalMart and San Fran we are going to be fighting a bigger battle than usual and it will requir "All Hands on Deck".

Exactly. It comes down to what is more important to LaPierre: His image/reputation or the future of the NRA and 2nd Amendment.

A domestic terror group? Really? Well, that figures, they let their precious voter base shoot up and crap in the streets.
