Title: Brownells Sale
Post by: Big Frank on April 26, 2020, 04:29:12 PM
Brownells has so many things on sale right now that I only looked at the Brownells brand so far. A set of 1911 Tri-Wing grip screws and driver, regularly $17.99, are on sale for $3.98. If I had pistols that would take those screws I would buy them. I don't like slotted screws as well as I do Torx and and others like these that the screwdriver won't slip off of. Plus they look better. They have a lot of barrels and slides on sale too, mostly for Glocks. They have RMR cut slides for a few different Glocks. They have a lot of AR stuff and some BRN-180 uppers on sale too.

I need to drift over there tonight!

I need some new screws for my Para 16.  Who knows what else that may lead to.

I just stick to Allen hex screws since you can walk into basically any store that sells a minimal amount of tools and find a bit or wrench to fit them. I might change to Torx somewhere down the line since they're everywhere now also.
