Post by: Big Frank on September 18, 2008, 03:36:43 AM: I didn't get to shoot them but I worked on them. Almost every one I saw was made at AC Spark Plug in Flint, MI during WWII. I was in high school with a guy who's mom told me about test firing them in the basement with all the other little old ladies. :)

Post by: DesertMarine on September 19, 2008, 07:17:05 PM: Another great John Browning invention was the BAR (Browning Automatic Rife). Shot that one a bit. Awesome rifle. Only drawback was the 20 rd magazine. It was accurate and fired the 30-06. Heavy at 19 lbs.
