Can't make it .
But it's time for Lapierre and the "hold the line losers" to go.
They need to quit sending renewal notices to life members and start rolling back the crap they've already allowed.
The current so called "leadership" are busy getting rich.
Minimizing damage is not "defending" it's just losing slowly.
They need to attack the existing infringements and current gun sales show there will never be a better time.
Look at the influence a few queers had.
You're telling me those A Holes, with 5 MILLION members can't get Hearing Protection and national Concealed carry passed ?
NRA is screwing us worse than Brady ever could.

Springfield CVB: NRA to reschedule its upcoming Springfield meeting
Gregory J. Holman
Springfield News-Leader

The head of Springfield's convention and visitors bureau confirmed Monday that the National Rifle Association annual meeting slated to be held in Springfield on Sept. 5 is expected to be rescheduled.

"Apparently, they are going to reschedule for November here in Springfield," said Tracy Kimberlin, president and CEO of the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, in an email to the News-Leader.

Dana Maugans, another CVB official, said NRA leadership "have not settled on dates yet" but intend to move the meeting to November.

The annual meeting was initially to be held in Nashville, then was moved to the Springfield Expo Center due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In June, when the NRA formally announced the move, a CVB official said the event would likely bring in nearly $900,000 in business sales to the Springfield area.

The NRA's 2021 meeting is scheduled for May in Houston, Texas.

The News-Leader reached out to the NRA Monday but has not yet heard back.

Shit can LaPierre and start taking back the rights you bastards have compromised away in the past.
Holding the line is a loser's mentality.
Take back what's ours.

I checked their tourism site....no mention of the NRA convention anywhere....

NRA cancels Springfield meeting, says CVB
Gregory J. Holman
Springfield News-Leader

National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre endorses U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt during a campaign stop at the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum in Springfield, Mo. on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016.
The Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau said Thursday that the National Rifle Association has canceled its annual meeting, previously scheduled for September.

The news is a change from previous expectations: On Monday the CVB said it believed NRA officials would postpone the annual meeting until later this fall.

NRA cited health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic in making its decision, the CVB said.

"Up to" 1,200 people were expected to attend the NRA meeting, according to a CVB news release Thursday.

To date in Springfield, more than 70 group events booked by the Convention & Visitors Bureau have canceled because of the pandemic, causing an estimated loss of more than $40 million in expenditures in the Springfield community.

The CVB said "dozens of other groups" that have set up events in Springfield without using CVB services have also canceled their activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The News-Leader reached out to the NRA's press office Thursday morning but has not yet heard back. The Springfield meeting was no longer advertised on the NRA annual meetings webpage on Thursday. The page stated that the next NRA annual meeting will take place in May 2021 in Houston, Texas.

Health indeed...the chicom virus is a fortunate out for LaPierre.

I was hoping for a "Cincinnati Revolution" to throw LaPierre out on his arse.

I've been bitching about how NRA never actually "DEFENDS" our rights, they just go through the motions of minimizing the damage.
In fact, they are merely giving our rights away slower than the enemy want to take them.
NFA facts.  Pistols are legal, pistol braces, a bs SBR work around, are legal. So WTF are SBR's still a taxable thing ?
Do you really want to defend gun rights ?
Use the damned things.

Quit donating to the money grubbing bastards.
SAF, and GOA do more anyways, Heller being a perfect example.
Take away the money then support the ones who stay knowing there is no pay off beyond actually restoring our rights.

That location makes it harder for general members to attend.  Springfield was too easy for a lot of people to show up.
