You all know I don't drive.
Well I put off refilling my heart meds,
" I'll pick them up tomorrow when I join procrastinators Anonymous" ;D
Well, with everything going on I figured I better get my thumb out and "git er done".
Went down Monday, Prescriptions needed reauthorization, 2 - 3 business days. OK.
Got a call last night they were ready.
Friend of mine dropped me off at 8 AM, his farewell comment was "You know the pharmacy doesn't open till 9".
Well sh!t, no I DIDN'T know that.
Fortunately Lowes is there so I spent an hour wondering around there.
I haven't done that in like 10 years, no reason, I haven't done that sort of work in 40 years.
The prices make my butt hurt worse than a woke liberal.
Finally got my pills, start walking home,
I really don't get enough exercise, it's only 5 miles, I used to RUN further than that.
sprinkling rain starts, just a drop now and then.
Got about half way home and another friend of mine was coming out of a store and offered me a ride.
F the exercise, that was a long time ago . ;D
My point is that every thing has been working out for me, but always with an unexpected delay.
Receiving guns from Auction house, should have been a week, took a month, sending guns to my Dad and Bud's should have taken a week, both took 2 or 3 weeks, picking up a new gun should have been in and out, took 2 days for the NICS check.
Everything has been like that.
Don't get to upset about the phony election news yet.
Those assholes don't call the election or the winner.
The Electoral collage does that and they don't even meet till December.

Tom, I didn't know you didn't drive. Is it by choice? Not trying to pry or be rude. Just wondering.

Got to expensive when I was paying child support .
I live right in town and was within walking distance of work so I didn't really need to.
Money was nonexistent so it was an easy choice between $45 to renew my license or $10 for an ID.
Now with all the electronics I don't know if I could start one of the damned things. ;D

I think you mentioned not driving before. Around here people who don't drive usually ride bikes and the rest of us know they probably lost their license for drunk driving. The exception would be the bikees who ride just for the health of it. They have much nicer bikes than the old beaters the drunks pedal around, so it's easy to tell who's who. I think they normally still do an annual ride from the state capitol in Lansing to the Mackinac Bridge. Google Maps says that's 260 miles by North Central State Trail, 302 miles by North Central State Trail and Fred Meijer Heartland Trail, or 327 miles by White Pine Trail. I'm glad they made the rail trails to keep those guys on bikes off the roads some of the time.
Speaking of procrastination, this is a French crystal paperweight that Barnes & Noble had on sale several months ago. I was going to buy it, but by the time I was ready to place my order it was too late. :-[
P.S. My typical day the last few months involves sleeping from 0-23 hours and mostly just wasting whatever is left of the day. I think my depression is getting worse.
