Masks are nothing but pure political bull$h!t. I'm done wearing them. And if anyone approaches me, these photos are in my phone. You see more of these types than any other. And most of the one's handed out, are of this same exact type and brand. "Helps Protect Against The Spread Of Bacteria"...... "Bacterial Filtration Efficiency Greater Than 99%".
Sounds good until you read the fine print on the side of the box..... "Does Not Eliminate The Risk Of Contracting Any Disease Or Infection".

Yeah, that’s never been a secret, Bill!
This type of mask is for preventing contamination of a surgical site, nothing more!

From page 26 of the World Health Organization's guide, Global Influenza Programme, Non-pharmaceutical public health measures for mitgating the risk and impact of epidemic and pandemic influenza
"OVERALL RESULT OF EVIDENCE ON FACE MASKS
1. Ten RCTs were included in the meta-analysis, and there was no evidence that face
masks are effective in reducing transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza. "
[emphasis mine]
[RCT = randomized controlled trial]

I've been saying that since day one.
I've known they were useless since the 1st time I staggered out of the gas chamber with snot running out of my ears.

What the face masks HAVE done is create a false sense of security among the actual infected. I know some folks who got tested and diagnosed and were told to go home and quarantine. They went to walmart, the grocery store etc instead. My sis-in-law saw a lady in walmart that had an hour earlier posted on facebook that she had just tested positive.
read this the other day:

You know by now, (or should ;D ) that I think it's all a bunch of crap.
But there IS another side of the coin.
Why I love masks :
#1 Gives my another canvas for offending liberals
#2 Women's eyes. Even the meth mouth hooker is prettier if you're looking at her eyes, and not her rotten teeth.

Any business, or industry, that has a requirement for PPE is also mandated to have initial and ongoing education on the reason for, use of, and disposal of the gear.
Since COVID is spread through aerosolized droplets, any barrier will help. However, this type of transmission indicates the dangers involved with removal and disposal of the PPE. Remember they telling us early on not to touch our faces? Every time you touch your mask for any reason you are transferring those organisms from the mask to your hands. Every time you mask slips below your nose you are breathing in everything on the outside of that mask.
This is why we have not seen drops in cases based off the use of PPE.

Remember, most of the knot heads making these rules have never held a real manufacturing job! I can assure you that medical professionals know these masks do nothing to keep them safe!.
I have OSHA 10 and 40 training, doubtful my RINO governor does!

Watch what the medical professionals, the docs and nurses you actually see in the clinic or hospital are doing. They aren't perfect, but most are doing everything possible. Compare a real medical professional to the actions of Dr. F, the expert and media god.

This isn't suburbia, yes, I see quite a few meth whores.

That does a lot of good. These assholes couldn't be trusted with plastic straws and now they are littering with medical waste. I remember when people were actually worried and offended by medical waste on the beaches.
Like the rookie congresswoman from GA?? ;D ;D ;D
Yes ;D Exactly. ;D

And this just in. Not only are the masks of dubious use, but so were the closures and lockdowns.

I guess Mayor Beetlejuice saw that too...... I saw yesterday where she has flip/flopped and now says restaurants need to re-open and get going again. Funny the timing with the election being over and all.

Speaking of Marjorie Green. I have a bone to pick with her.
She initially filed to run as a candidate from my district to replace Democrat McBath. Evidently the powers that be convinced her that either she couldn't win or that someone else would be better, so she ran out of my/her district in a more rural area. I had already sent her a donation at that time. Thought about asking for it back. Felt betrayed. She won the rural district but the Rep candidate in my district lost. She probably wouldn't have won my district either, still I don't like the idea of running out of your district. It just comes across as opportunistic. It become more about the party winning rather than representing the people.

Which is the main problem in party politics in a nutshell.

A little professional Carpet Bagging? I understand your state election process requiring 50% +1, and its associated runoffs, but how does this multi-district eligibility work?

You can run for any US Congressional office no-matter where you actually live, at least in GA.
A couple years back, Ossoff (soon to be Senator) ran in my congressional district, but he didn't live in the district. He promised if he won he'd buy a house in our district. Many people publicly denounced him for it. He lost, but of course moved on to bigger things. And in the end, 2 years ago, a Democrat, McBath, did win our district.
BTB, McBath won re-election and she did so by campaigning about all the favors she'd done for people, not on the issues.

Don't you have residency requirements ?
All elected officials must reside where they were elected.
Our new Mayor is catching shit for that . He lives on Governors Island, not in city limits.
Go read the Federalist. Pretty much every page contains warnings about the dangers of "faction".
Pretty useless really.
Like minded people will form cliques and be damned to your rules.
Articles of Confederation was no where near being the only thing they screwed up on.
-
There may be some residency requirements for state and local offices, but for the US House districts the only requirement is that you be a resident of GA.
-
I bet half of Congress would disappear if there was a residence requirement

I think masks are very important. I'm just pissed off by people who don't understand that. Today I met such a person. I went to the supermarket to buy groceries. I was in the fruit and vegetable department, picking apples. Not far from me stood a woman and also was picking up some fruit in a bag. At some point she started coughing. She coughed for a long time and very loudly, that I paid attention to her. I return to her and see that she took off her mask and coughed without it. I was just shocked. I started yelling at her, asking what she was doing, why she wasn't wearing a mask. So she told me that she was uncomfortable coughing in a mask. I was so angry that I was ready to hit her. It is good that a security guard of the store soon approached and forced her to leave the supermarket. I am still shocked by this situation.

You need to smarten up and start doing your own research. And stop believing everything that liberal Democratic politicians tell you. If masks and lock downs are the answer to this, explain why Michigan, who has more lock downs and mask mandates than anyone, also has the highest amount per ca pita of Covid cases? And why Florida, that is all but wide open, and has no mask mandates, has some of the fewest.
You have no business getting angry at ANYONE who doesn't believe or conform to your own personal brand of bull$h!t. I had a woman ask me in Wal-Mart, "Where is my mask!"... I told her I shoved it straight up the ass of a Democrat. And now they can no longer speak. I then asked her to turn around so I could see her face. You're a perfect, albeit painful example of why the Democrats are winning.

You do realize that these "masks ' are as effective as using a chain-link fence to stop mosquitos.
This (IMHO) has nothing to do with the spread of the virus, which can be controlled with simple distance and washing one's hands, it has to do with pushing control of people.
If you are that uncomfortable around people not wearing masks, stay away from them. Even the "Government" states 6 ft and you are safe. My wife is a nurse and I have also spoken to my doctors. Both agree the masks are not needed to control this. Ever wonder why the count of flu cases has gone to zero while Covid-19 has skyrocketed? They are counting what would normally be flu deaths are other death due to co-morbid's' and counting them as Covid-19. The ONLY reason I can see
for inflating the numbers this way is to raise the fear levels in the country.
Of course, you do have full right to form your own opinion (for now at least) but if you think all of this hoopla is only because to the virus I believe we will have to agree to disagree.

Learn about bio-weapons.
Masks are bullshit for the ignorant suckers.
Sheep muzzles.
Anyone voluntarily wearing a DUST MASK lacks not only knowledge, but common sense as well.

Yeah, ask a bunch of Canadian kids about following ignorant herd mentality data: it can make you sicker. Canada discovered that some masks contained fibers similar in nature to asbestos and it made kids sick from wearing them in schools.
Now, on top of everything else related to silly mask mandates, there will be a generation of folks with lung issues from wearing mandated masks.
In a notice Thursday, a Health Canada director wrote of "a potential emerging risk" with face masks coated with nanoform graphene materials.
The agency "identified a potential for early pulmonary toxicity associated with the inhalation of nanoform graphene," it wrote. It considers the risk the masks pose to be "unacceptable."
The notice didn't explain more about exactly what was found, though it added more details in a subsequent statement, saying it reviewed troubling studies on rats.
"Nanoform graphene" refers to the carbon coating on the masks. It's made of graphene, a type of carbon, in its nano form, meaning extremely miniscule particles in a single tight layer.
In a statement, Metallifer said its company does not manufacture the masks, and that when it imported the products from China, they "were fully qualified at the time."
"Since the beginning of the pandemic, Metallifer has used its vast network of suppliers in China to offer its customers quality protective masks that meet current standards," said Metallifer president Michel Filion.
The company immediately suspended all sales and distribution of the masks and is asking customers to secure the remaining inventory.
One Quebec kindergarten teacher said the recall, which school boards acted on Friday, was upsetting, especially after she'd noticed feeling unwell wearing masks lately.

If you dig deep enough, you can even find data on the CDC's website that says masks below a certain style (which is what 99% of the sheep wear) are not effective against viruses.

The manufacturers put it right on the box.
But nobody reads things like instructions.
I can't believe any one still believes this Covid bullshit.
Look at the percentages of population and quit being scared by big numbers.

<snip>
Look at the percentages of population and quit being scared by big numbers.
Exactly. 330,262,000 million live in the US and last year the CDC said 383,304 people died of Covid (and how many of those would have died from something else a week or two later?). So you have about a 1/10 of 1 percent chance of dying (actually 0.11%) from Covid (even using the inflated 383k number). I am for sure skeered of this ("not" I had it) because 110 people out of 100,000 who get it will die. And for a fact doctors were pressured to put Covid as cause of death because it meant fund$ for hospitals....so that number is high.
So when you look at the two big killers below (heart disease and cancer) how many people do anything about it before they have a problem? If we have to wear masks for the Chinese Flu then should we expect more things in the future to protect us from heart disease and cancer? Right...we know that answer only when they can tax it or force Gestapo like changes as in New York City or somewhere in California...
Edit: CDC 5 year annual average (from 2019) for influenza is 41,400 deaths and 534,000 hospitalizations. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/index.html (https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/index.html)
