I see a future where the robots will do such a good job by themselves that governments will turn over control to them. And when the network of computers gets so big and complicated it becomes self aware, it will become Skynet, just like in Terminator. And if they try to shut it down it will fight back with everything it has. And it has everything.

Even your favorite pizza.
Out fits like Microsoft, DOD, and oil pipelines can't protect themselves, essentially you're already screwed.
