The last gun company in "Gun Valley".
Until WW II Remington , (and Browning) were the only gun companies not in the Connecticut river valley.
Massholes must be SOO proud of themselves, shedding those nasty jobs.    ::)

I guess Tennessee’s the place to be if NH goes sour.

I saw this earlier. All I can say is "Welcome to the south S&W".

I hate to be vindictive but I hope the loss of jobs AND tax revenue put a real hurt on the State.

Interesting in that I'd always thought of Maryville, TN as a liberal college town.

WSB - Welcone South Brother.

It is.

What's that tell you about Mass ?   ;D

Now do you begin to see why I say " F--- Texas, I want that wall built in SEABROOK !"    ;D

Good on Smith and Wesson.  Except...it would be better if they were a little deeper south.  Say Arkansas-Oklahoma-Texas....

What cracks me up is all the politicians  saying how they are going to help the workers.... I bet most of the staff follows them down.

I doubt they pay well enough to justify that for any one but engineers, and management.
The actual workers will find new jobs where they live.

I heard that they were paying moving assistance  to every one, not sure how much, but I know damn well the cost of housing is half of what it is in mass.  Not to mention the 5% pay increase as tn does not have income tax

Lost touch with all my T/C co workers, none of them moved though when T/C got bought.

I just think it's great, just like how corps have been bailing out of ca.

Even silicone valley is bailing out.   Which is hilarious as thats the model the legislators use as thier business  model.   Which is so far from realistic to any other industry its not even funny.    All corps make 80% profit and pay 90% of thier employees 6 figures right?

Oh wait, reality is its less than 10% and most employees make 50-80k. Which is what the average income is in ca... what a shocker.
