Thanks, everyone. I decided this year I would emulate my Mom, and be 39 years old. Again. And again, for like the 30-something time.

My wife baked my birthday cake, a triple chocolate bourbon bundt cake, with raw bourbon in the icing. I'm not a big bourbon fan, but that cake is awesome!

A bourbon chocolate tort is my favorite.  Sadly I've had to bake my own the past couple of years.   I usually have it with a thin plain chocolate icing, but I'm thinking this year a bourbon flavored icing.  We'll call it Death by Bourbon.








We'll all ignore your bourbon confession and just assume is was a bad upbringing for which you can not be held responsible.
