I just ordered 2 Benchmade automatics, a (Pardue) Mini Stimulus with a 2.99" spear point blade made of 154CM stainless (58-61 HRC) and black anodized aluminum handles. It has the same plunge lock I like so much on my Gerber FAST Draw Tanto. The overall length is 7.10", closed length is 4.10" and it weighs 2.71 oz. The other knife is a Mini Claymore with black textured Grivory handles and stainless steel liners, and a 3" drop-point blade made of CPM-D2 Tool Steel, the powdered-metal version of D2 with a smaller, more homogeneous carbide structure (60-62 HRC). The open length is 7.18'', closed length is 4.18'', and it weighs 2.56 oz. And I got a Vortex Optics 3 Inch Offset Cantilever Ring Mount for 1 Inch Tube to mount the Vortex Vanquish 3-9x40 with Dead-Hold BDC (MOA) Reticle I already bought on my AR-15. I had a $10 credit at GovX for Veterans Day and ordered all 3 things through them. I should get a $15 credit after this, but I'm not sure.

I got a Ka-Bar Model Number 3073 Warthog Folder, Serrated a few days ago It has the right number on the box, but it has the number of the of the plain edge Warthog Folder, 3072, etched onto the blade. These 2 and the 3074 Warthog Tanto Folder all have 3" blades and G10 handles. They don't share much besides the Warthog name with the 1278 Heavy-Duty Warthog. It has a 6.75 inch fixed blade and weighs 1.05 lb. The folders are 0.3 lbs, so all 3 of them combined would weigh less than the big boy. That one has a TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) handle shaped like a bunch of other Ka-Bar knives. The liner lock on my knife is so hard to operate that I hold the knife in my left hand and use my left thumb to press it down. I do that with a lot of my liner locks if I have both hands free. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate liner locks? In my experience, frame locks are usually better that liner locks, but most of them seem to suck too.
