I'm a bear of slow wit.  I've never understood these types of safeties.  As I understand it with this system, you can't pull the trigger unless you pull the trigger.

It has a better trigger pull, and maybe it's drop safe now, unlike hundreds of thousands of P320s and possibly other SIGs.

But the best safety is keeping your finger off the trigger.
