Title: The Making of the HUXWRX Flow 556k Suppressor
Post by: Big Frank on December 21, 2023, 10:08:28 AM
A short video on the making of the HUXWRX Flow 556k suppressor, the first 3D-printed flow-through suppressor. It is full-auto rated and compatible on 5.56, 17 HMR, and 5.7 platforms. The integrated flash cap geometry effectively mitigates flash as part of its overall signature reduction functionality. Modifications to the bolt, gas tube, buffer or recoil springs, and other timing modifications are unnecessary. And there are no restrictions on barrel length. If you want to put it on a 5" 5.56mm, go ahead and put it on a 5" 5.56mm.

Watch it go from a pile of sand to a pile of cans.  ;D

Ah I was hoping for an STL file so I could 3D print my own.  But then again, my print head only goes up to 300c  so I doubt I can do stainless steel.

Hmm though.  Two things to investigate.  What is the toughest/strongest material I can print and where can I find STL files.
NOTE:  This is purely an academic interest.

It's sort of a marketing catch phrase.

Any bets on how long before somebody markets an AI designed suppressor?

And now you know one of the two reasons why something you could make at home for $20 cost over a grand to purchase...... ;D  ;D
