I've been a subscriber to BRCC for a number of years, but in January something happened to their fulfillment.
My initial Jan shipment was 2 bags short and when I pushed up the Feb shipment it arrived in an empty box. USPS had even stamped the label "Received Without Contents", put it in a plastic bag and hand delivered it to my door.
Have opened two customer service complaints. <crickets> <crickets> <crickets> no replies, no coffee, nada.
Today I opened a complaint with AMEX and they gave me the credit immediately!!! Not a good sign.
Anybody hear anything? I've searched reviews and don't see anything.

I've heard (from friends who buy their stuff) they've had their heads up their a$$es for a while.
I've been thinking of trying Invader Coffee. Pat McNamara has promoted it on his youtube page and podcast....he even has his own blend.

I haven't tried it but I like a good medium to dark roast, especially single origins. Blends are okay too as long as they're good grades of 100% Arabica beans and properly roasted. If I drank more coffee I would try roasting my own in the toaster over I just bought. But then I'd have to buy a good burr grinder instead of the cheap, blade coffee grinder I have.

So today I got a survey email from BRCC wanting to know how my interaction with customer service rep Steven went. I replied and told them poorly because I hadn’t heard from anybody in over a month, much less Steven.
About 15 minutes later I received another email from a BRCC rep name Steve, who apologized for the long delay in responding and offered me a refund in the form of a BRCC gift card. Needless to say I responded with:
This is the executor of Mr Sauve’s estate. Sad to say that after going without your coffee for over 5 weeks he decided to cross the rainbow bridge somewhat prematurely. Since he will no longer be subscribing to your service a gift card would not be useful at this point. The estate however would welcome a prepaid Visa, MC or AMEX card to help pay off the remaining expenses for his memorial service. However I should tell you that given BRCC’s major contribution his mental unstableness since you failed to shipped the promised coffee, and worse failed to attempt any communication for a rather extended period of time, his family might feel the necessity of engaging an attorney. You might find it more advantageous to apply said refund towards your own legal expenses.
