I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first HK. I couldnt see myself paying almost a grand for a polymer da/sa pistol. So I ordered some ammo and picked it up but something caught my eye. The p2000 was now going for $549. Just a couple of weeks ago it was $899. I couldn’t pass it up. Hopefully it’s as good as its reputation makes it out to be.

8) I didn't know anything about them so I took a gander at Wikipedia. It says it's based on the USP Compact pistol with improved ergonomic characteristics, etc. And it's chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. And there are 7 trigger variants.

I got myself in trouble today. I just put money down on the p2000sk the subcompact model. I really like the ergonomic feel of the grip the mag release is different but nothing I can’t train around. Im going to the range to get a feel of my p2000. Got a mix of Norma and cci 124 and 115 grain ammo. I assume the 124 will be its preferred ammo. I’m going to take some wolf to see if it will run ok.

Too many guns to buy, and not enough money to buy them. ;) That's always my problem.

AND I still have a few in the safe I haven't had time to shoot! (Isn't that illegal somewhere?)

You're not the only one, and I don't have many guns.I planned on shooting one of them Labor Day weekend but took 2 other guns instead.

Second range trip with my p2000 after changing the hammer spring with a lighter one and installing an enhanced magazine release. The trigger improved but nothing incredible. The mag release was a vast improvement. For sure this gun likes 124 grain ammo. Hit point of aim with 124 grain ball, but hits low with 147 grain hollow points. Recoil is about the same as a Glock 19. Kimi now wants her own in black. So I’m off to turners to get her one

Shoot, I have 4 ars waiting on parts. 3 of those I need 1 item to be done, the other I need 3. It is wry frustrating
I have a hk usp in 45 with a tirant can on it. I am not sure about the p2000, but my usp works great. Did take awhile to get the taller sights so I could see over the can.

I’d like to get a can but I’m commiefornia so that’s not going to happen

Michigan used to be like that until we elected a pro-gun Attorney General. Now we can get suppressors and full-auto firearms, even after he's been replaced. But a double-edge knife of any length is still illegal to carry. Too bad because I just ordered a Military Armament Corporation MAC MK II Knife. It's a clone of the Gerber Mark II one of my friends was carrying out in the field when I was at Fort Puke, I mean Fort Polk. The blade is 440C Stainless Steel and the handle is aluminum, just like the real deal. I just need to get the whole thing Cerakoted flat black.
