^ Their description, not mine. I saw this 5" stainless Smith & Wesson 460V revolver at Detroit Ammo Co. yesterday. It's a real beauty and can be yours for $2749.00, not 3 grand, because it's on sale. How can you not like a revolver that can shoot .454 Casull as a reduced load option? I would choose a .460 over a .500 S&W for its ability to shoot .45 Colt at a fraction of the cost of .500 S&W Special/Short/JRH. The first ammo I found just now was $85.18 per 20 rounds from Buffalo bore. That's their cheapest, but they also have $104.06/20 ammo. They also have HEAVY .45 COLT +P at $53.68/20 rounds. That's $31.50 per box cheaper than the cheapest .500 JRH. When you can save $1.575 a pop, the .460 sounds like a better option than the .500, unless money is no object and you just have to have the biggest caliber.

They also HAD an Absolutely BREATHTAKING Colt 1911 with Full Coverage Custom Engraving! for $2499, but someone bought it. It was a 5" stainless Colt Government Gold Cup.

I appreciate the art. They are pretty to look at, but not for me to buy.

They are nice. With so much engraving there isn't as great a difference in price from a new like gun...I would have thought they would be more. Still, more than I want to pay for now.
If I had them...I would shoot them.

I would shoot them too. I thought I would be alone in that. But I wouldn't pay that much for them in the first place. If they had a cheap "blemished" one on sale I might go for it.
