220 of our Marines, 18 of our sailors and 3 of our soldiers were killed nearly 41 years ago on October 23, 1983.
Today, September 20, 2024, Israel finished off one of the Hezbollah founders, Ibrahim Aqil of the Islamic Jihad (Hezbollah hid behind this name, of course) who perpetrated that and the Beirut Embassy bombing. With this guy being killed the entire first generation of Hezbollah's military wing founders is dead.
And Kama-la-la-la would stop support for Israel who, in protecting themselves, eliminated someone our government should have gotten to long ago.
What a nation of losers the democrat party puts in front of us.....not to mention the RINO's and their spineless allies.

Preaching to the choir. Isreal needs to continue stomping all over the ba***rds.

I loved the pager bombs. Talk about 4d chess right there.
-
I might be sentenced to go to the corner for this...but here you go! Plus their alternative comms invention.
And these are just injuries from the pager bombs. Over 500 terrorists blinded, hospitals filled beyond capacity, upper echelon of Hezbollah paralyzed (what's left of it), the Iranian Ambassador got paged too (imagine that....a Hezbollah pager on him and....just why is that?) and then there is the radio thing the next day that took out more. The pager action killed only a few terrorists...as reported by Hezbollah...but 500 blinded. Think about the inability now for so many to not reproduce since the pagers were in their front pockets....brand new eunuchs. And lots of them. ;D

Plus I bet some heads rolled up and down the supply chain. Literally

Nah. It was an Israeli front company apparently who manufactured the pagers under license from a Taiwan company - which quickly distanced itself.
And the walkie-talkies that were used in the second attack were cheap China crap, clones of a long-since discontinued Icom (Japanese) handy-talky. These likely (but I do not know for sure) went through an Israeli front company, where the batteries were reduced in size and the void filled with PETN.
Thanks for the photos Rastus, none of the sources I have seen have shown any.

Yes but the Hezbollah supply “officer” who was responsible for the purchase? How could he let the infidels trick him like that?
-
On the lighter side......by the way "Marzol Tov" means congratulations or good luck...

I bet it was very bad for moral. leave it to Israel to pull something like that off.
now if we only had a .gov with the balls to do that type of stuff.

We are run by lawyers and bureaucrats. Both work in their professions under a structure with rules and perceive that the world lives under such a structure. They look at other nations as common lawbreakers or tolerant allies bending to the rules they create not realizing they are sovereign nations not subject to the "laws" that the ruling lawyers and bureaucrats in the US perceive as a global structure of control. They rule out force thinking a "judge" somewhere has a bailiff that will handle things when in fact that does not exist...the US Military is the bailiff and that there is no judge...yet here they persist foolishly trying to get along with murders and thieves. And of course, they are not themselves thieves because they are too smart to get caught.
This is a great example of the psychological construct called culture and subcultures. Of the entirety of all subcultures is the culture and these guys play like the world lives and plays in their little world of their subculture. The world's culture is what the big dog says it is...and if the big dog loses it's teeth then a willing subculture jumps up and bites him. This thinking is going to get us killed some day if it does not change...

I remember the Marine barracks bombing along with a couple others. I was in the army at the time. I was going through basic training during the Iran hostage crisis. When the peanut farmer was President, 53 American diplomats and citizens were held hostage for 444 days. Then Regan was sworn in, and the hostages were all freed within hours.

Why did the Libyan Navy have glass-bottomed boats?
So they could see the Libyan Air Force. ;D

I thought it was to review their submarines with the screen doors in them?

That's the Polish navy. You know why the Polish navy has screen doors on their submarines? To keep the fish out!
P.S. When I was at work someone kept score on the white board.
Libya 0 U.S. 2 ;D They lost that stupid game. Their prize is resting on the sea floor.

Forget about Blue states and Red states. I'm voting Tangerine! I saw this on YouTube last week. It and sounds a lot like The Byrds version of Mr. Tambourine Man and is pretty good IMO.
