What does you guys have?
Seems like lots of choices, but they all are either extremely expesnive or cheap crap.

I don't have any gun storage in the car since having one anywhere but in the trunk, unloaded, is illegal without a carry permit. But I saw some locking pistol safes built into eplacement headrests. If you have a carry permit that would be a good place to stick the pistol when you went into a non-permissive environment.

Depends on your intended usage. Do you want quick access? Is for rifle or pistol?
For traveling any distance/overnight with rifles I have one of the those, large very heavy plastic-ky, ones with four locks and a heavy duty locking cable. Yes a sawz-all would defeat it, but the average smash and grab artist isn't gonna carry one. Interestingly in the path finder SUV it snuggle down between the back seat and cargo bay, almost unnoticeable. Smaller version I have for carrying multiple pistols when I'm going to shoot in competition.
I keep a small keyed metal, pistol box, also cabled securely, for use when I go in a prohibited place, like court. (Seems like I've spent a lot of time there over the years.) I think it's a Hornady with a flat-style key lock ($25-45?). I don't like the round keys because they're a pain to get lined up right.

Long gun, prefer it to go behind the back seat/under it. My hand gun never leaves my person unless I am going into a prohibited place. Looking to store a truck gun. You know the just in case shit gets sideways type of thing.
Did you get the check in the mail yet? My local post office is great, but the hub not far from me is a cluster I have had it take 2 weeks to go 9 miles or 3 days to go 1900. It makes no sense.

Got check, but feel bad because it was suppose to cover shipping. Thank you.
I swore off AR builds, but have one lower and a couple of uppers and many other parts just in case

There's a space under the back side of my rear seat that fits an ARkansas short perfectly and even with the seat in the up position you can't see it if you ain't lookin' hard for it.
I don't have under-seat storage because the floor rises up to just a few inches below the bottom of the seat (when seat is down).
However, I've discovered that the space under the carpeted flooring is basically hollow after cutting through a thin foam board. There are a few companies that sell kits to cut those spaces out and replace with lockable storage compartments.
There are also a few nice DIY solutions that I'm looking into to at least make theft a little harder.

I am sure glad I didn't buy anything. After being hit.... this week so far I have gotten weathertech floor mats, custom seat covers, new brake controller and tommorw the b and w hitch is supposed to show up. Not even sure how I can get it in the house. During pt this morning it was the 1st time I was able to stand up straight since the crash. Hurt, but I could do it.
