Time for everyone to take a chill pill and quit panicking.
Nobody broke the First Amendment this week. Nobody censored Kimmel, except his employers who were tired of losing money and viewers.
All the FCC Chairman did was remind license holders know that they are responsible for the terms of their license, and they can either pay attention, or the FCC will do it for them.
Everyone who holds a license to operate HAM should remember this and understand.
By the way, will somebody grab Chris Plant by the short hairs and point out that his stating that the First Amendment not guaranteeing the 11:00 PM time slot on television is like saying that the Second Amendment only protects muzzleloaders.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Says Congress and Government.
If i was losing money because of your mouth and you work for me.... Well. bye.

I'm back from an extended vacation. There was a missile attack that forced us into a shelter one night when we were in Jerusalem.
Kimmel and people like that should get a grip. They are not God. Most of us don't give a rats ass about them anyway...just look at his numbers falling once again.
He needs an ass whipping...not for what he's saying he can do that....but for his holier than thou attitude that he is so much better and infinitely smarter than any of us peons'. He is not "special" and I suspect a lot of his inflated opinion and drivel in general is driven to keep the undeserved gold flowing into his treasury.

Sometimes I think it's a good thing that miss over 99% of the news on TV. I wouldn't know anything about this If I didn't just read it here. Most of the news seems to e about a bunch of whiny b*****es anyway. If I wanted to hear that every day I would have stayed married.
