This is my first Sig. Boy does it feel good in my hand. The quality is second to none. I hope I like it

Looks good and I do like the 'feel' of the Sigs. Congrats!
-
Beautiful! I LOVE my Sigs, and I'm sure you're gonna love this one too. If you don't...well, they call me the Handyman...
-
Sweet. I have a P220 and wouldn't trade it for the world!
-
You picked a good one! What a looker.
Let us know how it shoots.
Sig to hell and back ;D

My 226 feels better than the day I got it. The trigger has improved and the slide rails feel like silk. I just ordered a 220 and I know I can count on it. I'm thinking about a 250, but I'm a little skeptical about it. Not a normal Sig.
Congrats Landor, you'll soon know you got what you paid for, and probably more.

Super nice pistol there. enjoy it. If buying a Sig P250 dont expect the tuned quality that you will get with a 220,229,226. The 250 feels cheep in your hand..

I came within about two minutes from buying a P239, the "Compact" (sort of). I found it pretty top heavy for a small pistol so I decided to wait until I was able to shoot one. As far as being compact, yea it's a little smaller but it's no lighter than my Para .45 LTC at 28 oz.. I think the Sig is 27.5 oz empty.
Has anyone had the opprotunity to shoot the P239 and if so, besides it's accuracy (outstanding), how did it feel? I'd appreciate any feedback. I really enjoy the others that I've shot so the decision is still in the percolator...

Nice looking gun.. Congratulations. :)
I handled and played around with one for quite awhile at the Shot Show this year.. They are sweeeet.
You will love it.

I have to admit that I keep coming back to this thread to look at that photo again. I have taken the wrong path...I should just have a big old box full o' Sigs.
I hope you'll have more photos of that thing in action. And how about the other side? Let's see that big old de-cocker.

My only complaint (and this is not gun specific) is why are all the mfgs putting those extentions on the mags? IMO they ruin the lines of the weapon.

My P239 was my everyday carry gun for years. Yes it's a bit heavier than a G 26 but I never, never, never had a single failure to go bang.
It probably has 15,000 rounds through it. The single stack makes it very easy to conceal in a FIST Kydex IWB holster. I use Corbon DPX 115 grain ammo.
I know Vicki Farnam carried one in .357 Sig and she found it much less wear and tear on her than the 40 S&W round. I think her's was a DAK trigger, mine is the decockable standard version.
I admit I carry a Glock 19 more often but I do have absolute faith in the the P239.

Can't really ask for a better endorsment than that. I'm going to the "Things that go Bang!" Superstore tonight!
Thanks... 8)

I actually have modified a couple of magazine baseplates. It they're made of a composite like Zytel instead of plain plastic you can file them down and sand them and the results are at least functional if not always pretty. If it's a softer plastic the results may be different. My advice; buy a spare baseplate and experiment on the old one.

I try not to use porn and de-cocker in the same sentance. It just seems wrong for some reason. De-cocker? Sounds a bit Lorenna Bobitish if you ask me. :-X
Back to the thread, yeah Sigs are nice. They shoot like they look and they look like they shoot.
