A daily paper about 60 miles from us ran this story on SASS this week.

Any comments from others on the coverage would be welcome.

Good promo for the shooting sports and CAS.
It sums it all up: People come from all backgrounds and they are participating on their level of choice, either recreational or competitive. No matter the level, they all mingle together.
;D ;D

was a pretty good article, I just noticed one error, They had a photo of a Black Powder shooter listed as a "Powder Revolver" what ever that is, Guess the proof readers missed that one ;D

Maybe his revolver uses loose powder, not cartridges.
Judging by the smoke it's BLACK powder, so maybe they just dropped the word black.

Not many at the Free Press that understand shooting and/or hunting issues. Dan isn't bad, but was probably writing in his "shorthand" while there and missed a few things. Their proof readers would never catch something like that.
They have one columnist that is an avid hunter and fisherman, and he writes about it quite a bit. However, he has joked about messing up a word or phrase himself, and nobody there knows enough for fear of asking a "stupid" question.
