While I don’t agree with it, I do understand the reasons that people would protest at a military funeral that the war is illegal and such. They have that right and I protect it for them. War is always a controversial subject with those that support it or not. My confusion comes from the people that believe that people are killed, both military and public service, because God is mad about homosexuality or some other crazy stuff. Patriot Guard has done a wonderful job of providing a buffer between these wackos and the families. We had a Maryland State Police MedEvac helicopter go down over the weekend due to weather killing the pilot, Flight Paramedic, a volunteer EMT they brought for help, and a patient. One patient survived the crash and is still in the hospital hanging on. The same group that protests military funerals is going to go to these funerals as well with signs saying things like ”God loves dead cops.”,”God hates fags.” and others. They say they will be at the funeral of the EMT saying she worked for the police and is responsible for the crash. She was a single mother of two that volunteered as an EMT to help the community and was killed. They all knew the dangers of flying in poor weather. The pilot and Trooper were professional aviators and pushed the envelope to get critically injured people to the hospital when they need it. Why make their families loss even worse by making a scene and being an A$$? Sending a grenade into them would be good but not appropriate. >:( Counter-protesting wouldn't work as they are just like Democrats and logic doesn't work on them. ???

Hopefully someone in the families will contact the Patriot Guard. The request must come from the family or funeral home acting on their behalf, and I'm sure they can find a way to help.

I've seen these "warped" religious scumbags with their signs, and chanting. Yes, as an American, I have to swallow ALOT of rage and let them do what our Constitution allows.
But my dog spike might get loose by accident, and he doesn't like those people. ::)

The worst part is the kids out protesting with them, sorry to say I have seen them and makes me puke. :'( Patriot guard does a damn good job keeping those A holes at bay.

By saying all war is bad these self righteous demagogues reject anything gained by war, there for they reject the bill of rights. That means they have NO freedom of speech, and no right to life, liberty or to be secure in their person or property.
