Newt may be TOO smart to get involved....too much BS that goes along with the gig.

I don't know if we will ever see "the right" person run for POTUS again. The people with the right intelligence and right mindset are too smart to jump into the whirlwind. We end up having to settle.

He would be a stellar choice, though.

Electing Newt is like electing the late William Buckley to the White House. His day has passed and he is better suited being the old sage who guides the younger conservatives along the way.

As for Palin, that is a totally different story!

I also like Huckabee too. But there are too many anti-Christian bigots in this country who are worried that Huckabee would establish a theocracy.

What is Obummer doing, at least Huckabee doesn't worship himself.
Saw a news story that Palin might consider running again for National Office  ;D

Many feel that it's going to take someone who is far right. Enough of these moderates! They need to pick a side.

We worry about a candidate being too far right, the left screams that a candidate is too far right, but did we elect a moderate or someone leaning against the left wall of the box?

I hope you are wrong but believe you may be right.  It is always the Godless left that screams about overtaking rights but when it comes down to it they are the ones who will steal our rights if given the chance and allowed to get away with it.  Their ability to speak out and act sprang from a Christian base...that sort of thing is not allowed in other religions...look at the middle east, Burma, etc....or nations with no "religion".
