Fellow Business Executives:
As the CFO of this company that employs 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our next President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8% but since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who will have to go.
So, this is what I did. I strolled through our parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.
I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem.
These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.
If you have a better idea, let me know.

For a minute there I thought your post belonged in the "Classic Joke" thread! It's funny, but no joke...it might have to come to pass.

That is why I am careful with bumper stickers and only advertise my views I'm willing to be punished for.
My NRA "lifer" is on the pick up, because anyone brave enough or stupid enough to knowingly deface the property of a gun toten', gun lovin' reddneck deserves the rush he gets from knowing he's in danger!

I think by posting this, you just opened yourself up to 8 wrongful termanation suits...where chances are you won't win.
No, I'm not joking. I'm down to just 3 employees right now... and they are only getting about 30 hours aweek.
When I need to let some one go, I look at production... in other words, how much money are they making me.

May not even be true, either.
I just got it in an e-mail and thought it showed a little "after election irony" as far as a what if scenario.

Just terminate them for no reason if you are an "at will" employer. Don't give them a reason to investigate their termination. Let them develop a right-wing consipracy theory.
They'll get other jobs, probably working in an Obama Politburo.
