Obama's Plan for Your Guns
Yesterday on Gun Talk, Tom exposed the Obama Transition Team's plan regarding guns. On change.gov, Obama's website, they spelled out their plan to reinstate permanently the expired "Assault Weapons Ban" and more. You listened, flooded the site and before the show was over they took down this page, hiding the true agenda for your gun rights. Well, once again, we have to expose this. The thing about the internet is, it's there forever, archived. We've found the page they took down...Click Here (http://www.tinyurl.com/5gznwl) to view (scroll down to the "Crime and Law Enforcement" section). Go take a look at what they don't want you to know.

Well it looks as though his fellow party members are already taking steps. Read this ...................

JPFO ALERT: STEALTH STRATEGY TO STEAL YOUR GUNS!
Another probable slap in the face for our veterans ..........
"The Peace Alliance" describes a bill to establish a "United States Department of Peace" -

A feelgood attempt to "save the world for our children's children" and about as unrealistic as trying to spare 200 (desolate) square miles of ANWR from oil drilling.

This from the bill to establish the "Department of Peace and Nonviolence", put forward by that loon Kucinich (bold mine):
(b) Domestic Responsibilities- The Secretary shall--
(1) develop policies that address domestic violence, including spousal abuse, child abuse, and mistreatment of the elderly;
(2) create new policies and incorporate existing programs that reduce drug and alcohol abuse;
(3) develop new policies and incorporate existing policies regarding crime, punishment, and rehabilitation;
(4) develop policies to address violence against animals;
(5) analyze existing policies, employ successful, field-tested programs, and develop new approaches for dealing with the implements of violence, including gun-related violence and the overwhelming presence of handguns;
(6) develop new programs that relate to the societal challenges of school violence, gangs, racial or ethnic violence, violence against gays and lesbians, and police-community relations disputes;
(7) make policy recommendations to the Attorney General regarding civil rights and labor law;
( 8 ) assist in the establishment and funding of community-based violence prevention programs, including violence prevention counseling and peer mediation in schools;
(9) counsel and advocate on behalf of women victimized by violence;
(10) provide for public education programs and counseling strategies concerning hate crimes;
(11) promote racial, religious, and ethnic tolerance;
(12) finance local community initiatives that can draw on neighborhood resources to create peace projects that facilitate the development of conflict resolution at a national level and thereby inform and inspire national policy; and
(13) provide ethical-based and value-based analyses to the Department of Defense.
Read the whole silly bill here, at Kumbaya Central http://www.thepeacealliance.org/content/view/278/23/ (http://www.thepeacealliance.org/content/view/278/23/)

I suppose that enforcing current gun laws and increasing penalties for firearms-related crimes make too friggin much sense to actually implement as policy. Why try to solve the crime problem by effectively dealing with CRIMINALS when you can disarm law-abiding citizens instead? A-holes!!!

I cringe every time I hear this statement. Penalties are harsh enough - enforce them!
Problem is, when we become criminals for having guns, for owning guns, for being interested in guns, those same penalties will apply to us.

I go hoarse and get writer cramps say this over and over and over again ...
Why is it that when ever something comes along for the PC crowd it is always the worst possible thing and must have special laws and penalties? It is worse to beat up a black man than me, it is worse to kill a muslim than me, it is worse to threaten and scare an Indian than me, and it is worse to spray paint a Jew's house than mine. Now it is going to be worse to kill a person with a gun than a knife, it is going to be worse to use a gun in a hold up than a baseball bat, and it will be worse to threaten someone with a gun than with a fist.
Treat all the existing laws equally, pursue all criminals equally, and focus on existing laws before you add a whole new tier of "feel good" legislation!
Oh ... and when someone is victimized (like raped), and the system will not step in to protect them, at least give them a free shotgun and ammo.

Pardon me while I preach to the chior , Violent crime is all the same no matter WHAT implement is used, I know 2 ways to kill with a rolled up magazine and could kill with a pen or pencil, and I'm not that highly trained in that sort of thing.
Punish violent and irresponsible behavior ,and quit bothering the rest of us.
This concludes the current rant, ;D
PS, I think my spell check is failing me, how the heck do you spell the name of a group of church singers ? ;D

Tom I think you and I have similar backgrounds, and could probably do more damage with a paper clip than Joe Biden could do with that little Beretta he's so proud of.
I've long maintained that a .45 with a full magazine is not nearly as dangerous as a liberal President with a dem congress, and a leftie-stacked SCOTUS.

There is talk of a gun owner march on DC. If the anti's can have a million mom march then we should do one to let DC know that we don't want them to take the LEGAL gun owner's rights away. It would take a lot of coordination and careful PR.

Ah but remember to push the LEGAL carry and ownership of firearms we MUST follow DC's dumb gun laws. Nobody carrys a weapon.
Now if we did it in Manassass or even better Fairfax VA (NRA HQ)....
