Title: Email Lists?
Post by: pops1911 on November 11, 2008, 12:03:25 PM
Anybody have an email list for all the major TV personalities & Newspapers? I am tired of writing individually to the major idiots & would like a composite list to email the same message to all of them at the same time. Maybe we all could send similar letters to help convince them to get off their 'high horses' & start reporting the news, I mean the truth rather than the spin.

Anyone care to join me - a little help if no one has a full list. Let's start listing any addresses you have for this.

I also would like to do the same for US Congress & Senate, cabinet & other officials, then add state, & maybe local too. Then we need to add judges at various levels. Etc.

Thanks

I go here frequently to write elected officials for several causes.
You can type in your zip code (about half way down the page) and it will give you your Federal and state officials.

For what it is worth, I had a US congressman tell me once that they have a filter system that can weed out emails that don't come from their home district. Not sure how it works.

I am aware of the .gov sites - that's the easy way to find individuals. I was hopeing someone would have a large list already compiled. I hate to reinvent the wheel all the time - like teaching a pig to sing ....

Most filters I've found deal with zip codes that are required to be filled out, but that is usually associated with their web-forms rather than email. Email usually skirts the filters since they do want to hear from part-time residents as well as a sampling of others.

So far it looks like I'll have to compile this myself & pass it around. We all need this to make our collective views needed to our elected officals. This is for all the marbles guys, not just playing around. Join the NRA & every other gun organization, contact the political parties & especially your own elected officials. But any extra we can send to all may make them pay attention. If BHo woke up to 100M emails telling him NO! - he might relent & if not he will pay the consequences. If we do nothing - he wins.

I wish I had the bucks to take on a national campaign, but I dont' & it makes sense to support the existing infrastructure rather than building a new one. So we do what we can.
