That is what they call a teeze, and around here, unless you are built like TAB, that could get you hurt >:(

7.62x51mm of course!

My 110 is 7.62 x 63 ;)
Unbelievably accurate and the 'accu-trigger' is SWEET!

Is that 30 -06 ? I've heard of X39, (AK) X51 (.308) X 54 (Russian) but never X 63. and I'm to lazy to walk across the room and look in my reloading manual ;D

So what are you saying here, Haz? Your Savage is bigger than his Savage? Trying to evoke a little caliber envy? Huh?
Is that what we've come to on this forum?
;D

Go ahead. Let him brag about his extra (almost) 1/2 inch. :)

Took the Savage to the Range yesterday and I couldn't shoot worth a darn! Best I did was a three shot string under an inch at 100 (4x Burris).
In general for 5 shot string I was probably in the 3 to 4 inch area! YUCK!

Great choice on those 3, very nice. 8)

That's okay Haz. I shoot patterns, not groups. :(

Hazcat, with a higher power scope you probably get better groups. Better definition of aiming point. Still not bad for 3 round group. I always throw one or two out.

The scope on the Savage is a BSA 4-16x40mm (illuminated mil-dot reticle). Using Leupold scope base. I had it dialed in, but the scope base is adjustable for windage under the rear ring. I had the screws tight, but not locked down with Lock-tight. ::) Last time I was shooting at the range, they worked loose, now my zero is off and I haven't had the chance to get it back to where it was.
The AR has a Burris Speed Dot sight with 5MOA dot. Works like a champ. Picked it up for $35 at a local gun shop years back.
The 1911 is an Auto Ordinance, it has been taken apart and "upgraded" by yours truly several times, the list of parts is long. I have installed a Dwyer 2 piece recoil guide rod with Wolf recoil spring, Chip McCormick trigger, sear and mainspring, Wilson drop-in beavertail safety, flat mainspring housing, slim tactical thumb safety, commander style hammer, stainless firing pin, Wilson extractor, Novak 3-dot sights (only parts installed by another gunsmith) smooth wood grip panels, stainless grip panel srews. I dehorned the gun myself for carry and will install magwell in the future as well as a coating of Duracoat.

I put the 4x on it because of hunting. I don't want to have it dialed to 9 and have a fast 40 yard shot that I can't find.
I keep thinking I should switch scopes with my .22 that I have a 3 x 9 Bushnell on.

I can relate to that... Most of my guns are more accurate than me - some are WAAAY more accurate than me. ::)
