Don't know if this has been posted yet, But here is the link
http://www.ammoday.com/
all the DRTV regulars should go out and help the cause.
-
This is the 7th annual one but I never heard of it before.
-
Well then I guess it's a good thing I posted it...:D
-
The goal is to empty the shelves of ammo ... Shouldn't be too tough the way things are going these days.
-
Might have to roll some pennies. ;D
Just got 540 rounds of .223 and 100 rounds of .45 ACP delivered by UPS yestidy afternoon.
Might can scratch up enough for another box or two.
-
Sorry, I couldn't wait, got 250 rounds of 223, 2 boxes of 38 cal Federal hydrashocks, and 3 boxs of Winchester Supreme 12 guage hunting loads that I like to use, the Winchesters were discounted down from 17.99 a box to 9.99....
-
gosh durn it. I bought a mound of ammo and reloading supplies LAST week. But I guess I could go buy just ONE more box of something.
-
I haven't bought too much of anything yet so I'll make sure to get at least a couple hundred rounds ;)
-
Since I am picking up my FN9mm, early b-day present Mon. (after 5p.m.) I'll be sure to go back on the 19th and get some tasty morsels she can eat,... ;D
-
OK ... I know today is only the 18th, but I got an e-mail from Midway USA this morning and then the bossman pissed me off!
1,000 rounds of ammo should be on UPS yet today!
I was surprised that even with shipping the price was VERY competetive ;D I've bought several times before through Midway USA as a way of getting ammo when I'm flying somewhere, and I always viewed it as paying a premium for the convienence. However, this time it was a good deal no matter how you look at it.
I've done my part ...
-
Got mine yesterday - a day early!! Made me very happy & now it's time for another order!
-
I made a special trip and bought 2 boxes of ammo 22lr and 223.
-
Went to two of the local stores, got a brick of .22LR at each - not Remington. Had lots of FTF with the Rem .22 at the Appleseed (3-5 misfires per box!). Already have a few of the .223 and .308.
The gunshop I mentioned previously - The Outdoorsman in Fargo - still has lots of ARs in various configurations and flavors. I heard MD mention that people cannot find them in some areas. They also have a dozen DPMS stripped lowers. I was stunned when I saw the price tags - $200. I had paid $130 for mine earlier this year. That's a 50% increase.
To help pay for more goodies, I've been considering selling some of my battle packs of '80's Hirtenberger 7.62x51 I got a while back. I saw a case of Hirtenberger on Gunbroker for almost 2 grand - that's $2 a round. I have a gun show coming up in a month, may take them over there.
-
Picked up my Savage MK II BVT (that's thumbhold stock with varmint barrel). Got a box each of .22, .17hm2, .9mm, .223.
Done my part.
Hurry up Friday so I can go to the range!!!!

You'll have to get in line, Haz. They're just getting around to shipping my order from last week. ...2ea 5, 10, & 20 rounders
-
That's OK Alf. I can wait, and we can chat while we stand in line. ;D
Any ideas on finding mags for my Ishapore 2A? I have tried most of the milsurp sites and Brownells with no luck.
-
I got off cheap 550 rounds of 22lr 4 my new sp22.
-
Bought 250 rds. 9mm for the FN, and more .22lr., wanted .45ACP but will get online. MidwayUSA.com gives those with a b-day a little discount if purchased during the b-day month. ;D
I really want to stock up on .45LC. I love to shoot mine but that sticker shock makes it tougher to enjoy. :-\
