Great and thank him for his effort and service :D
-
The best to you both, thanks to both of you, and I have prayers for your entire family.

Is he Army ? Thanks to him for his service. This part will be harder on Dad than Son, Son is busy with the "job" Dad is the one with time to worry. Don't, your Son is part of the most highly trained force America has ever put in the field, He has some of the best equipment available, and lots of equally dedicated, well trained and equipped young men and women to support and assist him in his mission.
-
Bless you both - you for raising him right, and him for being man enough to do this for us.
BTW - I want an MRAP.
And a lifetime supply of fuel, can't imagine it's very economical to run.

I could have really used that truck yesterday,....
God Bless You and Your Son.

GOD bless him, and give you peace.

Thought and prayers for you, your son, and your family. My 18 yo is in the National Guard but is also currently going to college on ROTC so he is currently non-deployable; he does have several friends deployed right now. I can relate to what you're going through.

Had a service today for a lady whose grandson just completed basics and is back in school waiting. Grandpa has shed a lot of tears over the last few days, but when his grandson walked into the church in his dress greens today the tears flowed like I had never seen them, but this time their was a smile of pride (and a loooooooong hug) that only a grandpa can give.
