Some of you may have recieved this information from DPMS, but here it is for those that did not:
Randy Luth is on the list of 25, and voting is taking place. It is an impressive list of people, and all are deserving. Take some time and vote for your favorite.
As of this morning Mr. Luth was leading with 41.882% and Jon Annoni was in second place with 35.61%. The rest were way behind.

I was going to write in Julie Ball myself. ;)

Vote for Randy!
He is a great guy, a good friend and a fighter for our rights!
Let's send a message...

Done. Will he send me extra mags now that I purchased a DPMS and voted for him? ;D
-
Okay I voted for Randy.
I would have never taken the time to read through all those bios. So thanks for the heads up, MB. Now I know a little bit about DPMS.
-
Just went over and checked the poll:
Randy Luth 51.84% - John Annoni 37.76%
John has moved up 2.15% (35.61 to 37.76), but Randy has moved up 10.02% (41.82 to 51.84)
Hope it keeps heading that way. It is a good sign when a publication like Outdoor Life (broad outdoor activities) has a readership that supports a firearms manufacturer and spokesman this strongly.
-
I like Randy Luth a lot, and he's done some good things...BUT, I voted forDave Brower, the guy from Michigan who has volunteered to band ducks and build nesting boxes for the past 15 years.
-
Done. Now more than ever we need to support someone like Randy just as much as SOME of us gun owners vilified Can Cooper. Let's be as vocally positive to one of our own as we possibly can.

*sigh*
Comment under Randy's picture:

I want to know how entrepeneurship of selling assault weapons "helps" the outdoors. Aside from the fact that you could present a pretty good argument that assault weapons and their public perceptions are actually threatening gun rights and thus hunting, so in fact this gentleman is hurting the cause not helping it, I'd like to know why a straight-up businessman is even nominated. This guy sticks out like a sore thumb in the presence of teachers, conservationists, scientists, etc.

Voted
For those of you in MN he owns or is part owner at Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club in St. Cloud, MN. The rifle and pistol ranges are right behind the DPMS buildings.

Been there and met him there.
WatchManUSA,
Have you ever seen them demonstrate the strength of an eotech, and the gun it is mounted on (a DPMS Classic A2 when I was there the first time)? Quite impressive!
-
I have been there when several people from DPMS were test firing weapons. I didn't talk with them because it looked like they were deep in their work. I went to the pistol range which is on the other side of the range. I shot there quite a bit this past summer but now that winter is coming I'm back to shooting indoors.

I've gone to the web site but cannot figure out where to vote. Can anyone help?

Took me a while to find it also. It's underneath the last picture in the album. Quickest way is to drill back one to the "album" view then select the last picture.

You have to go to the last picture. Option to vote is below it.
-
OK thanks, I voted but could not see the results so far.

There is a button on the vote page that allows you to "view." You don't need to vote to hit that button.
I check it occasionally out of curiosity.
-
I'm not sure how the voting is going. It says the poll runs through December 15th, but when I hit the view results button it no longer brings up the vote totals. Is this just my computer or is it happening to everyone?

It is official ... Randy won the readers poll with over 50% of the vote. Runner-up was 36%.

Thank's for the update.
