Al Roker on "Armed in America" Gun violence
OMG!!! I didn't know Al Roker was an expect in Gun violence ::)
No need to guess where this will be going.
-
My head hurts.
Prediction: warm up and bs to further brainwash the masses to the gun bans to come. :'(
-
I'll be watching The Unit
-
I tuned in ten minutes into the show, football games you know, and after 34 minutes of watching all I see is anti-gun spin doctoring. Typical gun bashing with more emphasis on the gun than the criminal.
As I type they are talking about Bowling Green, KY and the amazing "large arsenal." Damn ... I'd hate to hear what they would say about me, because what he had access to there would be less than half of mine (not bragging, but rather pointing out how little it takes to create a media story).
-
Pure anti gun puke straight from the ATF.
-
Haz and anyone else that endured this, were we supposed to believe that Sublett was not at fault, and that his young son's father was a victim of the guns he had access to? That statement at the end had my head spinning and throbbing so bad that I'm not sure of what I heard.
I think the most telling of where this was heading was the portion on a small number of dealers supplying guns for the majority of crimes. They then went in and did the hidden camera straw purchases. The only thing that was not said was that if we ban all sales there will be no illegal guns and there will be no gun crime.

TIME TO APPLY THE "NO SHRUG" TREATMENT !
-
I went downstairs with the intent of recording this to watch later but couldn't find it. Only this morning did I realize that I have MSNBC blocked so it doesn't show up on my program guide. (duh).
I really didn't miss anything though. Sounds like same old slanted drivel.
-
In radio interview with a local station here Al said it was about "illegal" guns and stopping them. MSNBC is what should be banned for false advertisement.
-
I have Directv and their online guide turned out to be switched with Meet the Press. So hopefully people that tuned in to see this drivel couldn't. Maybe some NRA spy screwed up the guide?
-
I kept yelling at the TV "what is an Illegal gun?" (amounge other things ;) ).
No balance from our side, showed full autos like they were common on the streets, interviews were all antis from Chicago and NY, etc.
One of the worst pieces of 'journalism' I have ever seen!

A few far left states require all firearms to be registered..... The left and of course MSNBC(D) make that a default given in any argument about our 2nd amendment rights
-
Maybe I'm just over sensitive ... Ok ... I am over sensitive. However, in my oppinion it did have a more negative spin on it than just getting illegal guns. A combination of the catch phrases that were used, the sensationalism (especially when Al shot guns, was shown and described a Barrett and a sawed off shotgun, and when they talked about "armories"), and the open ended questions and statments fed into the anti's platform.

Yer right M58,
They used every scary buzz word and phrase they could. >:(

I tell ya, the pro gun internet folk are buzzing about this one..... do a Google search for "Al Roker Armed in America". All you get for results are the gun forums and gun blogs. They are commenting along the same lines that we are here:
The war on guns has begun, and MSNBC(D) is doing their part to soften up the public for a coming gun ban!
Speaking of an Armed America.... Anyone remember this book:

Its a great pictorial of average Americans and the arms that they keep and bear. You can see some of the pics form the book here:

Go figure, I mean it is Al Roker. We're talking about someone who's journalistic prowess is stretched by being a glorified weather man. I don't believe he will ever be in contention for a Pulizer, which makes him fit in perfectly with the rest of the mindless trolls at MSNBC. Thank God, I didn't know about this program in time to subject myself to the torture that would have been watching it. That would most definitely have led to a bad case of potty mouth and I hate the taste of soap. ;D
