Is it just me, or has the price of lead bullets quadrupled over the lasr year?

No reason for it, just saw somewhere that metal prices have lost more value than during the Depression.

I think I've told the story about buying a box of LSWC in .40S&W from a local retailer back in March.  $31.   I went back in August and the product was marked $81.    I called the clerk over and politely informed him of the labeling mistake.  He laughed and walked away, saying that they were going to raise the price again that night.

Long and short I found the actual manufacturer who is close by and will sell directly.  Very reasonable and they use USPS Flat rate priority so shipping for 2000 round is <$12 ANYWHERE in the US  (AK and HI INCLUDED!).

Magnus Bullets  http://www.magnusbullets.com (http://www.magnusbullets.com)   They have jacketed as well a full line of Lead bullets.

More than a 'hosing'...that was sand in the vaseline.
